Conditions pour le ski : 

Very good conditions, strong winds, “goblets” (Graupel - very very small round snowballs that can create a weak layer if buried) were built by the winds (mostly on north west slopes), higher amount of snow deposition in an altitudinal range of 1700-2000m, attention in the late afternoon (17:00) spontaneous slab avalanches happend in that range. Above 2000m wind impact and huge slabs, slabs were very stable (profile of 70cm one stable wind pack without weak layer) but attention we didn’t dig deeper. Slopes were stable from the summit down the couloir NE and the couloir skiers left of the couloir the Pouta. 

Conditions nivo et activité avalancheuse : explicitly described above, unstable conditions observed between 1700 and 2000m, thick slabs created during the day with spontaneous releases in the afternoon on N and NE aspects, avalanches size of 1. Above 2000m, stable conditions as previously described.
